János Timár and Ev́a Ehrlich

Chapter 4 in Human Resources, Employment and Development, 1983, pp 55-73 from Palgrave Macmillan

Abstract: Abstract Utilising statistical data for about 30–35 countries classified as economically advanced nations, our examination will be based on a more detailed analysis of about a dozen countries for which there are long historical statistical time-series available. From among these we have selected those which are, from our aspect, characteristic of the different secular processes of industrialisation.
