Maritime Economics & Logistics, 2002, vol. 4, issue 4, 390-404
Abstract:
This paper describes the growth and flowering of maritime economics, as a recognised discipline, with particular reference to the careers and publications of certain prominent individuals since 1960. The first section defines the terms; this is followed by sections describing what happened before the 1960s and the patterns of events thereafter.International Journal of Maritime Economics (2002) 4, 390–404. doi: 10.1057/palgrave.ijme.9100052
