A Framework for Thinking about Innovation
James A. Christiansen
Chapter 4 in Competitive Innovation Management, 2000, pp 70-134 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract As I said in the introduction, innovation can be a very complex process. Many steps can be involved in generating an idea and bringing it to fruition. To be able to think clearly about this process, it is useful to be able to break it into phases, and then to develop a clear theoretical understanding of each phase. That is what I will do in this chapter.
