Abstract:
Abstract User fees are a part of the local public finance arsenal of both the Czech and Slovak republics. To understand their use, their capacity for revenue generation, and their potential contribution to public finance in the twin republics, user fees must be considered within the context of the Czech and Slovak transition to market democracy.
