Abstract:
Abstract This chapter discusses the key hypotheses around which the book has been organized. It explains in detail the conceptual framework and the methodologies adopted in its investigation and analyses of firm-level business strategies. It provides a detailed explanation on how the sample cases were selected and how each case was studied. It discusses how each case was analysed using a variety of primary and secondary documents. Finally, it discusses the basis of adopting various statistical tools and the techniques adopted for analysis of various data on investments and performance indicators.
