Petty Tyranny

Adrian Furnham

A chapter in Management Intelligence, 2008, pp 145-147 from Palgrave Macmillan

Abstract: Abstract As ever, different surveys report different findings on workplace bullying. Some suggest around half of all staff have experienced it and nearly 80 per cent have witnessed it. It apparently happens everywhere, causes distress, stress and absenteeism, lowers turnover and reduces productivity.
