Asking Simple Questions

Adrian Furnham

A chapter in Management Intelligence, 2008, pp 36-37 from Palgrave Macmillan

Abstract: Abstract There is a modern myth about the development of the toothpaste tube which is very illustrative. A curious – in both senses of the word – inventor approached a toothpaste manufacturer with a very simple idea. He persuaded the manufacturer to part with a six-figure sum on the promise his idea would quickly lead to seven-figure profits.
