Abstract:
Abstract The interrelationship between productivity, efficiency and economic growth is complicated and controversial, and hence the focus of the core chapters of this volume using the Chinese economy as the case studies. The objectives of this concluding chapter are twofold. It first presents a summary of the main findings in this book (Section 8.1). It then sheds some light on the outlook for sustainable growth in China (Section 8.2).
