Abstract In this chapter we are going to explore in detail the political dynamics created by having people of widely differing values and behavioral styles working together side by side in the workplace; people who may have nothing in common with one another beyond the same employer, but who have to find ways of working productively with one another day in, day out. This chapter will introduce you to the complexities of the different style and value systems that you and your colleagues may use at work, and will explore the political elements these differences create in your workplace.
