Chapter 6 in Worked Up Selves, 2010, pp 140-172 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract The previous chapter examined the ways in which personal development workers discussed their relationships with their clients. In particular, it examined how they imagined their power relations with their clients and the nature of their expertise in relation to their clients. This chapter turns to the theme of transforming the self.
