Abstract:
Abstract The evolution of the world economy in the last decades has defined a more integrated framework with a notable resurgence of investment flows; liberalization and innovation trends are the main factors shaping it. The result has been an increasing competition amongst market participants and a higher diversity of attractiveness, leading also to the entrance of new countries into the global game. The evolution of technological innovation in communications and the dynamic behaviour of foreign direct investment (FDI) are contributory factors to globalization.
