Chapter 9 in The Basel Capital Accords in Developing Countries, 2010, pp 169-177 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract Since Basel II was approved in June 2004, banking regulators around the world have laid out plans on how to implement the new capital accord in their own jurisdictions. This process has not been limited to developed countries. Most developing countries have expressed intention of implementing Basel II, and many of them have announced how they intend to do it.
