Chapter 3 in Alliances for Sustainable Development, 2010, pp 46-61 from Palgrave Macmillan

Abstract: Abstract Presenting the creation of corporate-NGO alliances as a universal tool (suitable for all types of institutions) runs the risk of tarnishing and discrediting this practice more than serving it. Indeed, it is important to recognise that not all businesses and not all NGOs benefit from an alliance in the same way. This raises the question of which types of businesses and NGOs may be interested in an alliance.
