Chapter Chapter 9 in Big Business, Big Responsibilities, 2010, pp 134-148 from Palgrave Macmillan

Abstract: Abstract There can be times when business is discussed as if it is run by a group of men in suits sitting around a shiny boardroom table at the top of a tall building making highly logical profit maximizing decisions that are then flawlessly put into effect. All that would need to be done to achieve corporate responsibility under these circumstances would be to convince these powerful men to make different decisions — invest in renewable energy, for example — that could then be just as easily and effortlessly put into effect.
