Abstract From the Bentley Boys and their deep pockets to today’s multi million pound assaults on Le Mans and other classic endurance races, the British have always been sports car competitors. Today it’s tougher than ever to export such knowledge, but significant German, American and Japanese teams do depend on UK expertise, although rather secretively.
