A Proposed Model of Technological Change
Jeffrey L. Funk
Chapter 7 in Global Competition Between and Within Standards, 2002, pp 246-259 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract This chapter proposes a new model of technological change that incorporates the hybrid model and other ideas from this book. The model of technological change is intended to be exploratory and is not expected to explain all industries. It is offered as an alternative explana ion of technological change in industries where standards play a key rcle. Hopefully, future research by the author and others will modify and extend the framework.
