Andrés Hatum ()
Chapter 4 in Next Generation Talent Management, 2010, pp 68-96 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract As a result of the organization’s recruiting and selection efforts, the company now has new people on board, in addition to employees who have been with the company for a long time. A sound talent management strategy must include processes for blending all these people together to form a harmonious workforce. In addition, the organization needs to have a development strategy, so that talent is ready to meet the company’s changing needs. This chapter explores the development of a firm’s talent management strategy.
