Abstract:
Abstract This research studied the fundamental issues related to financial market development and carbon market development in the context of globalization, using recently developed econometric and statistical methods. Chapter 1 contained an overall review of the literature on the development of financial markets. Chapters 2 to 5 examined specific issues related to financial development whilst Chapter 6 was about the geographic determinants of CDM development, which is an important part of carbon markets, especially for developing countries.
