Chapter 4 in Personal Brands, 2010, pp 71-91 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract Philosophical thought proposes a series of particular ends or desired outcomes within the natural or human world. These outcomes are complex and generally the proposal suggests a particular timeframe. Ideals differ from proposal and objectives. Proposal and objectives represent desires or outcomes which may (or may not) be achieved within a specific timeframe. For instance, where personal brand ‘X’ aims to achieve ‘Y’ return on its investment over a two-year period. At the end of that period we can measure the success or failure of such an objective.
