Chapter 65 in Managing People in a Downturn, 2011, pp 191-193 from Palgrave Macmillan

Abstract: Abstract There will be fewer full-time and more part-time jobs — so we are reliably informed. There will be fewer core and more contingent workers. More people will work from home. Work will be a thing you do, not a place you go to. Certainly, the old 9-to-5, tea boy to managing director, pipe and slippers at 65 concept of work has gone.
