Chapter 72 in Managing People in a Downturn, 2011, pp 210-212 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract Being an entrepreneur is sexy. The Dragons’ Den (a TV program where budding inventors and entrepreneurs present their idea live in front of four people who compete to question and back them) has turned half a dozen people into media stars. Governments, even of a pinkish hue, recognize the advantages of having wealth-creators in their midst. We have initiatives to encourage, nurture and promote entrepreneurship among the young.
