Abstract:
Abstract The creation of Genes, TVM, and HANNOVER Finanz helped with the process of importing more sophisticated approaches to equity and debt into Germany. It is significant that both Genes and TVM were authentic transplants of US venture capitalism. Those connected with their development would find it an easy step forward into leveraged buyouts, and many of them made this move within a very short space of time.
