Behavioural Economics
Jan Jonge
Chapter III in Rethinking Rational Choice Theory, 2012, pp 38-49 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract This chapter describes the curious development of the relation between expected utility theory and behavioural economics. Behavioural economics was first a generic term for non-expected utility theories, and a potential alternative to rational choice theory; but increasingly it became a companion to expected utility theory instead of an alternative.
