Neuroeconomics

Chapter IV in Rethinking Rational Choice Theory, 2012, pp 50-70 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract Many behavioural economists have become interested in neuroscience. They have great expectations that the new techniques of brain imaging will enable them to learn what goes on in the human mind. Though the results of this cooperation between economists, psychologists and neuroscientists are still poor, there is already some talk about a theory of neuroeconomics.
