Chapter Chapter 3 in Shut Up and Listen, 2012, pp 51-58 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract You may think a chapter about reading is too simplistic; after all it is such an everyday occurrence it’s almost like having a section on how to breathe or how to walk. Yet, the importance of knowing what, how and when to read is greater than ever, as it remains one of the primary ways we receive information and form opinions about the world around us and our daily business imperatives. This process of receiving, in whatever form, is at least half of the two way communication process.
