Adrian Furnham
A chapter in The Talented Manager, 2012, pp 37-39 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract In the old days, when (usually male) interviewers were selecting (usually male) applicants for a senior position they were taken to lunch. This was especially the case if the applicant had been to a good school and college (Oxbridge), belonged to a good club and had the experience the interviewer required.
