The leader profit chain

Adrian Furnham

A chapter in The Talented Manager, 2012, pp 134-136 from Palgrave Macmillan

Abstract: Abstract Various business concepts, including the Service Profit Chain and the Gallup Path Model, propose a direct link between the management styles of senior leaders and the company’s actual profitability. It seems self-evident that companies with good management practices are, in the long-term, more profitable. And that it is senior managers who determine and ensure that good management practices are used.
