Abstract:
Abstract The aim of this chapter is to examine the structure and operation of the supply chain in airport retailing. It will examine the types of relationships that exist between retailers, airport operators and suppliers, and consider the methods employed to source, buy and supply product. The typology of airport retailers developed in Chapter 2 will provide a framework for understanding the similarities and differences that exist between operational structures.
