Abstract:
Abstract This chapter is based on the results of the research carried out in the broader framework of the Global Development Network’s (GDN) Understanding Reform Project and therefore focuses on understanding the market reform process undertaken by eight case studies from Africa and the Middle East. These countries are Burundi, Ghana, Jordan, Kenya, Morocco, Tanzania, Uganda and Zimbabwe.
