Chapter 3 in Project Analysis in Developing Countries, 2000, pp 41-70 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract The construction of resource statements and the application of discounting are the basic tools of project analysis. However, the purpose of project analysis is to facilitate decision-taking on proposed projects. This chapter outlines the criteria used for taking project decisions. It restricts itself to comparisons using discounted values of benefits and costs.
