Chapter 18 in Money, Credit and Asset Prices, 1994, pp 271-279 from Palgrave Macmillan

Abstract: Abstract This chapter contains an application of some of the ideas in this book that are relevant to the regulation of stock markets. An early version was circulated internationally by the Capital Markets Forum of the International Bar Association as a discussion paper in 1992. It was also presented in July of that year at a conference, ‘Financial Decision-Making and Moral Responsibility’, organised by the Von Hiigel Institute in Cambridge.
