Chapter 8 in Economic Theories and their Relational Structures, 1998, pp 95-125 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract In this chapter we shall complete the illustration of the scheme developed in Chapter 6 for the case of a system of representational theories by focusing on its two upper levels. Proceeding in a fashion similar to that of Chapter 7, we give for each of the two types of theories a summary characterization of language and structures followed by a detailed example from the actual practice of economic science. Section 8.5 will then re-examine the question of inter-level theoretical links.
