Indices of Power

Anatol Rapoport

Chapter 18 in Decision Theory and Decision Behaviour, 1998, pp 366-382 from Palgrave Macmillan

Abstract: Abstract In his book, Politics among Nations, Morgenthau (1973) draws a parallel between economics and political science. He regards the problem of distribution (or allocation) as the common theme of both disciplines. The distinction between them, according to Morgenthau, is that economics is concerned with the distribution of goods, services, resources, and the like, while political science is concerned with the distribution of power.
