Abstract:
Abstract BASIL MOORE studied economics at the University of Toronto and Johns Hopkins University. The author of Horizontalists and Verticalists: The Macroeconomics of Credit Money (Cambridge University Press, 1988), he is best known for his critique of orthodox theories of exogenous money. Basil Moore is Professor of Economics at Wesleyan University, where he has taught since 1958.
