Abstract: Abstract PETER RIACH studied economics at the University of Melbourne and obtained his doctorate from the University of London. After 23 years teaching at Monash University he moved in 1988 to De Montfort University, where he is head of the economics department. Peter Riach has published widely in the areas of labour economics, inflation and income distribution theory.
