Abstract:
Abstract Vietnam’s economic development path during the past 50 years can be divided into three periods, marked by significant political or economic change: the 1945–75 period can be characterised as one of a war economy; 1976–85 a period of macroeconomic crisis; and the period from 1986 to the present day has been hailed as a period of significant economic reforms an also of remarkable economic performance.
