Abstract: Abstract The objective of this chapter is to discuss the various aspects involved in the operationalization of the field study. These aspects are: the choice of the sector of economic activity, the choice of a suitable location where this sector could be studied, and the choice of the research methodology used for the collection and analysis of the primary data.
