Abstract:
Abstract Have you recently tried to buy anything in your local electrical goods supermarket? Well, we did, we wanted to buy a new fax machine. The prices were grouped as follows: We had previously purchased a photocopying machine, only to find later that the cost of the replacement toner unit was as much as the cost of the original copier. So, we asked about the cost and availability of printer refills for the plain paper fax machine. No one in the store could tell us. We left the shop because we were not convinced that the shop assistant or the retailer itself really knew what they were selling, and we had no idea whether the price was competitive. We had lost confidence in this retailer’s ability to offer a fair deal.
