Chapter 2 in Mentoring, 2004, pp 7-21 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract All those involved with the mentoring process need to be aware of the broader business environment and drivers for mentoring. This chapter helps to explain why many organisations are adopting mentoring as part of the development of the capability of their workforces. It will help those setting up mentoring schemes to make the business case for mentoring. For those taking part in a mentoring relationship, the chapter will provide the context and rationale for mentoring.
