Fostering Loyalty

Abstract:
Abstract The moral of our story is positive: loyalty can be fostered and maintained, even grown over the working life. A garden left untended quickly grows into a wilderness, with brambles, bindweed and thorns dominating the ground and threatening to strangle the flowers and vegetables. But with some attention and knowledge plants, flowers and vegetables will grow. In this sense managers may need to build an agricultural or horticultural model on how to develop and sustain employee loyalty.
