Chapter Chapter 4 in The Bending Moment, 2005, pp 30-38 from Palgrave Macmillan

Abstract: Abstract In today’s marketplace there can be few, if any, businesses that are not only dealing with the intricacies of their own industry sector but also the effects of globalization. Tom Peters, in his book Liberation Management said ‘Globalisation and information technology are bringing about the most dramatic transformation in the history of business’. In reality, we believe that we are simply experiencing the next evolution of business.
