Compassionate Leadership
Beverley Stone
Chapter Chapter 6 in The Inner Warrior, 2004, pp 55-68 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract Try and think of a leader as a role model and, like most texts, you may first think of Martin Luther King and John F. Kennedy in the USA and Winston Churchill and Lord Sieff of Marks & Spencer in the UK; all of whom are no longer with us. Next you may think of Richard Branson — with reservations. He, like the others, appears to hold a vision that balances a drive to achieve the task at hand with a concern for people.
