Abstract:
Abstract This chapter sets out the conceptual framework that underpins the Government’s approach to reforms in microeconomic policy that are described in the remainder of the book. The chapter draws on the Chancellor of the Exchequer’s speech ‘A Modern Agenda for Prosperity and Social Reform’ to the Social Market Foundation.
