An Alternative Model of Organization
Mark Daniell
Chapter Chapter 6 in Strategy, 2004, pp 107-131 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract To be successful at the highest levels of business, organizations will need to be designed and operate to a set of guiding principles that allow a business to master the full set of challenges of the new paradigm. The most successful companies will be those that adapt how they work as well as what they address in order to stay ahead of competitors. In order to pursue these new challenges, many organizations are discarding older centralized approaches or inefficient matrix models in favor of a new and alternative approach.
