Chapter 9 in New Development Strategies, 2004, pp 177-200 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract Korea’s experience since the 1997 economic crisis has prompted many questions about its development policies and strategy towards the transition of the economy, whose rapid growth in the past had been based on a government-led development strategy, with heavy protection and intervention, in the move towards a fully market-based economy.
