People and Human Resource Strategies
Stan Lees
Chapter Chapter 11 in Global Acquisitions, 2003, pp 141-150 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract People are the vital core of our business. These words or something similar have appeared at some time in the annual reports of almost every company around the world. But words don’t always match deeds. Often there is a gulf between noble statements of intention and how people are actually managed on a day-to-day basis. In mergers and acquisitions, that gulf can be enormous.
