Chapter Chapter 18 in Global Acquisitions, 2003, pp 265-271 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract This has not been a book about strategy — yet it has gone straight to a question at the heart of strategic thinking: How best to make strategy happen? It began by highlighting two of the biggest concerns in the merger strategy field. One was the overwhelming conclusion from decades of research that mergers and acquisitions on average fail to deliver intended value. The other was the underwhelming dearth of research into merger implementation and integration.
