Value and Money
Christopher J. Arthur
Chapter 7 in Marx’s Theory of Money, 2005, pp 111-123 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract Value-form theory generally is inspired by Marx’s stress on the importance of value as a social form, and his criticism of classical political economy for neglecting this aspect of it. But applying this approach in a thoroughgoing and consistent way leads to a reconstruction of Capital. This chapter is not, then, intended as exegesis.
