The New Work Models
Nicholas Bahra
Chapter 3 in Competitive Knowledge Management, 2001, pp 49-62 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract It is all about life/work balance, according to the Industrial Society. Note the life part comes before work. People’s skills, knowledge and creativity, generally now described as human capital, undisputedly have become increasingly important in the creation of economic value. As these intangible assets have increased in importance, the raw materials within a product have become less significant.
