Nicholas Bahra
Chapter 7 in Competitive Knowledge Management, 2001, pp 94-114 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract There is increasing pressure for companies to measure intellectual assets and recent statements by leading financial business leaders describe why this is the case. We’re very much moving into a knowledge-based economy, and the proper measuring and accounting of assets that create wealth in a knowledge-based economy is critical. It is the whole underlying foundation of our economy going forward. [Steven Wallman, former Commissioner, Securities and Exchange Commission] (Skyrme, 1998, p. 13)
